So sweet of you to email. I hope you had a fun 4th of July!!! Christopher and I are just recovering from our wedding, extreme home makeover, and quick honeymoon to Toronto etc. and getting back into emails....

I have been thinking of you and wanted to let you know how FABULOUS, ENERGIZING, WONDERFUL, FUN, FESTIVE, AMAZING, and FANTASTIC you and your group was for the wedding! I wanted to call you and tell you what a hit you were, Noel. Everyone * LOVED * LOVED * LOVED* the festive Latino flair that you brought to our special day. Now, every time I hear salsa music, I smile and laugh thinking of when I first met you at Blind Pig and how much fun it was to have you with us. You made the day!

I am glad that you enjoyed the day and food and fun. You truly felt like family, Noel. We were honored to have you as the live main attraction! Let me know if you have a CD or the next time you are playing out. I TRULY enjoyed your presentation. You have a wonderful educational show with a top-notch ensemble that is ready to demonstrate all the building blocks of Afro-Caribbean music sepparately and then together.

All the band member's demeanor was 100% professional. You are very articulate in your explanations and also charismatic with the kids; you tied Black History Month with the often-overlooked African roots of Latino culture, and also your sound system sounded great-I wouldn't have mixed it any different.

I can't help but notice these things, and I can tell you that you have a hell of a band! I wish you much success. I hope the directory I'm putting together will help you in your artistic career.
